IS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT DIFFERENT?
Not quite. At its core, our approach remains familiar -
We continue to fulfil Principal Contractor duties with the same level of responsibility and diligence. The key difference? We operate on a transparent, agreed-upon percentage fee basis, offering greater clarity and flexibility throughout your project.
Differences include:
- Trade contractors (TCs) are in direct contract with the client and not with Wordsworth.
- The client pays the TCs directly, not paid by Wordsworth.
- The client has much more flexibility to make significant changes.
- There is total transparency on what is being spent.
- Designers are retained by the client and are not novated.
- Wordsworth are part of the client’s team which removes the adversarial culture.
Beyond that little is different
We manage safety, progress, quality and cost of all parties on site like a D&B contractor would.
