Kathie co-founded Wordsworth Construction Services with Shaun in 2014, embarking on a complete career change following her initial profession in nursing. Over the past decade, she has developed extensive knowledge and experience within the construction industry, particularly in Construction Management, and has become a passionate advocate for the services and solutions the business provides to its clients.
Kathie was particularly proud when Wordsworth Construction Management achieved ISO certification in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management in 2023. This milestone demonstrated the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects while maintaining strong standards of reliability, sustainability and professional excellence.
She considers her role within the business to be one of the most challenging she has undertaken, but also one of the most enjoyable and rewarding. Kathie continues to be inspired by the opportunities to learn, develop and support the team in delivering successful outcomes for clients.
Likes – running, going to the theatre, walking, my dogs, ice cold pint of milk or Peroni
Favourite food – poppadoms, cold chicken, chips and beans, space invader picked onion crisps (not all at the same time though!)
