Phil Burgess
Pre-Construction Director
Phil brings more than 40 years of construction industry experience and a wealth of commercial and pre-construction expertise to the team.
Originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, Phil has worked in both private practice and main contracting, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of project delivery. In recent years, he has specialised in pre-construction, with particular expertise in developing high-quality qualitative bid submissions.
A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), Phil has worked across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, education, justice, industrial, manufacturing, leisure, and residential developments.
Outside of work, Phil has a passion for adventure. He retired from climbing after a serious accident in the Alps that resulted in seven broken bones, an airlift by helicopter, and a two-week stay in hospital. Despite hanging up his climbing boots, he remains a self-confessed thrill seeker and can often be found exploring the country on his motorbike whenever the opportunity arises.
