Shaun Wordsworth

Shaun founded Wordsworth Construction Services in 2014 with the intent of providing main contractors with any services they needed during the pre-construction stage of projects. However, he quickly realised that these services could also provide huge advantages to clients, leading to the formation of Wordsworth Construction Management, offering a principal contractor role on site under the JCT Construction Management form of contract.
In 2024, the decision was made to bring both businesses together but still with the same offering, fully ensuring a smooth transition of projects from pre-construction phase into Construction Management with one team working together.
Shaun has over 25 years' experience in construction - starting his career with Wates Construction as the first sponsored student in the northern region and culminating in being MD of the northern business of a national contractor, running three regional businesses specialising in residential schemes of all sizes.
Shaun’s experience covers both Public Sector and Private Procurement, PFI and PPP Initiatives, Frameworks and Landmark Projects.
Shaun's skillset allows him to support the team to ensure that projects fulfil expectations by maintaining a close involvement with, and by offering support and leadership to, the full team, including the client.
