Shaun Wordsworth - The Team

Shaun founded Wordsworth Construction Services in 2014 with the vision of providing main contractors with expert support throughout the pre-construction phase of their projects.

As the business grew, Shaun recognised that the same expertise could deliver significant benefits directly to clients. This led to the creation of Wordsworth Construction Management, providing Construction Management services and fulfilling the Principal Contractor role under the JCT Construction Management form of contract.

In 2024, both businesses were brought together under a single brand, creating a seamless service that supports projects from pre-construction through to construction delivery. This integrated approach ensures continuity, consistency, and a smooth transition between every stage of a project.

With almost 30 years' experience in the construction industry, Shaun began his career with Wates Construction as the company's first sponsored student in the Northern region. He went on to become Managing Director of the Northern division of a national contractor, leading three regional businesses specialising in residential developments across a wide range of project values and complexities.

His experience spans both public and private sector procurement, including PFI and PPP initiatives, framework agreements, and complex landmark developments.

Shaun continues to play an active role across the business, providing strategic leadership, mentoring the team, and working closely with clients to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards from inception through to completion.
