Rob joined Wordsworth Construction Services in 2015, following several years experience at some of the top 50 contractors where he spent 11 years working in pre-construction, starting his career as a planner and progressing to pre-construction manager.
After completing his degree, Rob naturally progressed towards planning, joining Wates in 2006 where he progressed through the disciplines of pre-construction to bid manager. Further pre-construction experience was gained at GB Group where he was part of the regional management team involved in assembling the bid centre in the north west of England with a turnover of £55m per annum.
Rob has worked in numerous sectors including industrial, commercial, social housing, hotels, education, residential, extra care and care. He has extensive experience of project management from inception to completion in addition to managing major bids, frameworks and PFI projects, under both single stage and two stage procurement routes.
Rob is an enthusiastic, dynamic and effective communicator, adaptable and self-motivated with the drive to always perform and respond to business requirements and objectives and the passion for taking the project through to successful delivery.
